FYI...The resistor limits current flow through sender potentiometer, otherwise it would burn up inside your fuel tank. I put one on each wire per diagram.

My oil and fuel pres vdo senders both do this, but appear normal when running. Possibly the diaphram/spring/lever/potentiometer thingy is sticking inside.

I used window tinting on my HX's to get mine lower than 1 for those occasional night flights. Yes, one level dimmer would be nice.

I have a PC 680 aux battery in the back and on my second one in 125 hrs. I have two HX's connected. After 3 -4 weeks of no flying, my aux battery always reads less than 11.5 vdc. I will check amp draw next time at the hangar and disconnect mine too. I also have cabin and glareshield LED dimmers wire...
