Everything is set up for INHG. Aux Port 2 is the Left fu...

Trainer

Has anyone ever considered making a trainer for the PFD's? Garmin makes them for their different Navigators and they are very helpful in getting familiar with the different aspects of the unit. Practicing on the ground makes for a much easier transition when you actually start using the PFD in the a...

USB Ports

On page 11 of the install manual it says that there is a single USB port on the back of the Horizon 10.1, it says that you can connect a hub for 3 devices to connect to that USB port. My Horizon 10.1 has 2 USB ports on the back of it. Are they duplicates or are they for different functions?

Remote Radio Control

I have my comm radios wired up and they are communicating with my 10.1 EFIS. The serial port is programmed and the counter is recording an increase. However I can't change the frequency from the PFD. I can change the channels on the screen but it does nothing to the radios and I can change the chann...

Re: TRIG TT22 GPS input

I already have the safefly it is attached to my Horizon 10.1 so there is no extra box in my case. I've connected it to pin 19 in my safefly which is supposed to already be configured for the correct rate and output. I'll see if it works that way or what anybody else has to say. I got an email in to ...

TRIG TT22 GPS input

The SafeFly manual shows connecting pin 19 of the safefly to pin 5 of the TT22. As I read it the default settings for pin 19 are Rate 38400 and Output is Safe Fly NN33 then set up the transponder to accept that output and it should all work and broadcast ADSB out. Is this a good way to set it up or ...
