Re: TT-22 ADSB

Thank, Jeff, I will be sure to get the new SX update installed as soon as my avionics tech installs my new system. OR..... do I need to go ahead in pre-install it in the Sport SX 200A before the TT22 is installed? (Sorry for the add on question... I just thought of it to ask) Regards, John Wanamaker...

Re: TT-22 ADSB

Hi Guys, I have just purchased the TT22 and the companion TN70 GPS/Antenna. I have the Sport SX 200A unit (new). Am I going to have potentially the same problem on the air/ground lag as the HXr and others? If so, will my Sport SX 200A be able to use the software patch? Thanks, John W. Cuyler Airpark...

Re: Panel Tilt

Thanks Jeff,

I looked at that initially before I posted the first message. Thanks for confirming.

I am on a major learning curve here... and I only want to make as few errors as possible. <G>

Panel Tilt

Hi Group, I have just started the process of programming my new Sport SX 200A. On page 4-23 of the install manual... it says to go to the "Set Instrument Orientation" Obviously, there is no line item called that exactly, in the AHRS Maintenance section. What line item selection do I use/go...

Re: Oil Tank Fluid Level

I have resolved this minor issue by just running wiring to a red light on the panel. This tank is obviously checked in pre-flight. I just wanted to be able to know if a fitting or hose developed a leak during flight because I would only have minutes to put the plane down before the engine seized if ...

Re: Oil Tank Fluid Level

Thanks Jim, Much appreciate your offer... I'll keep everyone informed as to our efforts. Regards, John John, If you have a spare aux input available on your EIS, it wouldn't be all that difficult to use that and make Low Oil appear on your Sport screen. Let me know if you need help. Jim Butcher

Re: Oil Tank Fluid Level

Thanks,

I don't know how I could have missed it in any Rotax manual... thanks for the heads up about it all... sounds like an easy fix. I'll give Lockwood a call. I have spent a ton of money there as well as GRT <G>

Much Appreciated....

John

Re: Oil Tank Fluid Level

Jim, The Rotax Oil Tank has a built-in probe with 2 spade connectors protruding from the cap of the tank probe. I have read every manual Rotax has about the 582, and not one mention of this oil level probe, with the electrical leads coming from it. The probe looks to be authentic Rotax, not an after...

Oil Tank Fluid Level

Hi Folks, Please forgive a double post on this topic.... I mistakenly also initially posted this in the Sport SX section. I won't double post anything again... sorry. I fly an Earthstar JT2 with a Rotax 582 that uses an Oil Injection System (not pre-mixed oil/fuel). I am currently installing the Spo...
