GRT Avionics

First, the touchscreen "autopilot mode control" software is a really nice piece of work.

The problem is that not all screens are touchscreen.

I have been using GRT for so long that I am somewhat on autopilot when pressing the buttons on the EFIS.
BUT!!!!

I think that it would be really nice (IF FEASIBLE) to have "CHECKLISTS" as a FULL PAGE on a MINI and as a SPLIT PAGE on the EX **and** 10.1 (well, HXr as well).

The reason is that when you are flying, you may want to access an IFR APPROACH checklist to make sure that you are setting things ...

I have a LARGE USB Memory stick in my plane.
I save "ALL" DEMO files. (May be a bad practice but I do it.)

Now, when I want to play back a DEMO file from a MOST RECENT flight, I have to scroll through "GOO-GOBS" of files to get there. Literally years worth.

I am a bit closer in SC (KCUB) and may be able to help. I have set up aural warnings using various GRT equipment over time.

Given that I have the Discovery ADS-B Wi-Fi Connection,

Might it be possible, since my iPad is speaking with this device,

To ADD the ability RECEIVE my flight plan that is in FOREFLIGHT on my GRT EFIS???????

You may take the OUTPUT of the GRT **servos** and send that to multiple places (e.g. EFIS's).

The INPUT to those servos needs to come from just ***ONE*** EFIS.

I have a switch that selects which EFIS **controls** the autopilot servos. All of my EFIS's get to listen.

Additional info could include GROUNDSPEED and DISTANCE.

Also (it bit more far out) TIME of CROSSING if on vectors that cross.

TRAFFIC TARGETS COLORS???? The idea is that in a high traffic environment, without distance, you have to the mental gymnastics to check your range and estimate the threat ...
