I have an EIS 2004 and I have connected the Green/Black serial out to the Yellow/White serial #2 In on my Mini-X. In the set up menu I can set the serial 2 baud rate to 9600 but in the menu to turn on the Serial #2 In, There is no "EIS" option. There are plenty of other options such as mag...

I'm very interested in the new engine monitor, ads-b, and Bluetooth capabilities of the Mini. I've been unable to find any documentation regarding the wiring between my EIS and my Mini-X. As far as I can tell, if you want to use the ADS-B functions, you need to connect to an ADS-B in device using either a Serial or USB connection. It would be nice if you could connect to one of the popular "Puck" devices by Dual or Garmin using the Bluetooth connection.

Mini EFIS and Encoder/Converter
I am wiring the Mini X with an encoder/converter since my transponder needs gray code. Since Grand Rapids doesn't make one, I am using the Dynon converter. I believe the baud rate is the same. I'm using Serial 1 out for the signal. Anyone do this yet or am I on new ground?

I would like to mount my magnetometer in the wing tip. My wings are removable. Can I install a 4 pin Molex connector at the wing junction without interfering with the signal of the magnetometer?
