Horizon EX sends NAV frequencies to SL30, but won't send COM freqs.
Plane has 3 EX's (with #2 communicating to SL30) and a 430W. I would really like EX#2 to send COM freqs like my old Horizon WS in the same slot did. Settings: 430W as “430W-1”. SL30 as “SL30-2”. “COM1 Device” = 430W-1. “COM2 Device” = SL30-2. "Send SL30-2 Data" - all Yes. "Send SL30-2...

Re: ADS-B+ compatibility
Thanks, Bob, that really helps. And yeah, I'm prepping my mind for the contortions. For the connection to my transponder, can I splice a wire onto the existing GPS wire that runs from the 430W to the EFIS ("GPS#1" wire)? I know the 430W has another RS232 port, but the manual suggests that ...

ADS-B+ compatibility
Currently, my EX EFIS sees a 430W as "GPS#1". I plan to have the 430W modified to output ADS-B+. Will this cause a problem for the EFIS? Thanks.

Sport EX USB output current; GPS required?
1. I think uAvionix's pingEFB (60mA) replaces the two SDR receivers (300mA each). So it appears that the total draw (Stratux, pingEFB, GPS, fan) is well under an amp. Can the Sport's USB connection supply that much? 2. Can the Sport use its own GPS data, or does the Stratux have to have its own GPS ...

Settings Backup decoder?
Sometimes at home, I wonder how I have my EFIS configured for a certain parameter, eg: ARINC receive speed. My plane is 45 minutes away, so having a way to decode the EFIS' Backup file at home would be very helpful. The field names in any delimited format would be plenty, if that's available. Thanks!
