Re: GPS Input for Trig ADS-B out

Excellent questions...if all the necessary data that the trig needs comes through the HXr (with serial adapter) that would really simplfy installation! I've been debating to go to the TRIG22 this year(been nice to fly the plane without thinking about doing more panel work). But if it's only a couple...

Re: External Gps

Rob,

I've got the 18xPC and the 1 sec refresh is just fine. Don't notice any delay in my position data at all. Of course if you have a 500mph plane, you'll want the 5hz refresh!

Re: FLIR USB input or other camera?

I've got the information that I needed. Thanks all who responded. I see the driver is written for the adapter so that any analog camera can be attached. Now I just have to find a camera mounting area and camera!

Re: Flight plan won't activate?

I see the same bug. Right now I'm just using the interface as an extra screenful for the rear seat.

I hope the app keeps getting developed, to include engine screens too!

So there are two of us using the app!

FLIR USB input or other camera?

Quick question! I know the HXr will interface to your FLIR camera via USB. I have absolutely no need for that right now, however what drivers does the HXr look for to interface the video? Could I attach another non-FLIR camera (say a go pro or other off the shelf) to the USB and have the HXr recogni...

Re: Percent power config

GRT_Jeff, That did it! Thanks a ton all! I now have percent power configured. Yay! In the meantime, I uploaded all the approach plates for the US and did that without any help ;) I think my EFIS currently has 0 issues to work out. Going on a two hour flight tomorrow to enjoy flying the plane and loo...

Re: Percent power config

OK so I entered my data and the percent power is showing an odd number...I get 640% power and at full throttle 999% power. Do I need to setup a decimal point somewhere? It seems like the correct calulation for percent power...just a a decimal point off. For instance 640% power if I do my math correc...

Re: Percent power config

Bob and Katie,

Thanks, I've found the entry point and was uploading all my engines data this afternoon. The amount of information is just amazing. Just when I think I'm done I find another item to configure and give me real time information that I can use to make me a better pilot.
