Re: CO Guardian 353P Serial Settings Issue
After moving some wires around and running tests while on the phone, the CO Guardian input is working on port 4 as intended, but we don't know what fixed it. Looking at the photo, your Serial Port 7 isn't configured properly if the TT22 adapter is wired to this display. For a TT22 adapter (single or...

Re: "VNAV" with GTN 6xx or 175/355????
For the LPV and ILS final approach descent, we have supplements for the GTNs on our Miscellaneous Documentation page . They're similar to the 430Ws but they have renamed some settings. We have many 175/355/375 installs working now. We don't have full supplement documents but we have text files with ...

Re: Software update GRT HX EFIS
The manual says you can't make any changes if they aren't communicating. That would involve the configuration on the 480 serial port 6 and the wiring from the 480 port 6 to the GTX33 port 1. We don't know any more than that.

Re: Software update GRT HX EFIS
Yes, all of your Magnetometer Raw/Bias Data and X/Y Accelerometer lines are blank. That means the AHRS isn't getting the commands from the EFIS to turn them on. That could mean the serial output isn't configured on the correct display or port or there's a problem with the wire. One screen should hav...

Re: Software update GRT HX EFIS
If your AHRS is connected to more than one EFIS screen, try it on the other screen. An AHRS can only be controlled/updated by one screen, the one with the EFIS Serial Output that connects to the AHRS Serial In. This is the same screen you would use for altimeter calibration and magnetometer calibrat...

Re: set up a/p
The Mini settings are a little simplified for these. They are automatically turned on if available and can't be changed in the SET MENU. The Mini-X always has lateral functions enabled (vertical is altitude hold only). The Mini-AP always enables both lateral and vertical functions.

Re: GRT Dual Band ADS-B Receiver
Traffic would be displayed as part of the PFD 3D Synthetic Vision view if it's in front of you. Synthetic Vision mode requires heading, altitude information, and GPS position to work. The "ON" or "TERRAIN" mode must be selected on the "SV" button. "Traffic in view&...

Re: HxR: EGT/CHT History timeline - changable?
The Mini, EX, SX, HX, WS, and HS have a separate "EGT" display mode that shows both types of graphs side by side and matches the colors. On the full EGT/CHT display, the Mini and those other displays don't show the colors (example on Mini install page 73). The inset graphics on the HXr and...

Re: autopilot
That should have engaged at least. The EFIS would hold heading automatically. If you have a Mini-X it would hold altitude. If you have a Mini-AP it will hold pitch (so you can engage during a climb). You should also get a pop-up menu of A/P modes to decide what to do next. Did you complete the setup...

Re: RPM Display N1/N2
The standard tach inputs for a piston engine EIS and "RPM" display work this way since around EIS software version 75 (2009). If your EIS has software to show two independent tach readings such as on a turboprop/turbine then it will work differently. If you are showing "N1" or &q...
