Re: EIS preferred aux connections
you can use anyone of the 6 aux functions for any extra sensors that you might install. There are no "preferred" choices for the aux layouts. Just make sure that you write down the assignments so that you can do the programming later for EIS and EFIS. Here is the link for the CS-01 current...

Re: Erratic Display
An AHRS failure wouldn't normally cause an erratic Amp indication. A short interruption in the power to the AHRS can cause the attitude on the PFD to drop momentarily drop out. I have never seen the AHRS cause a current irregularity.

Re: Sport HS vs Sport SX
The SX now gives you the faster processor and an extra serial port. The screen For the HS and the SX can be the same 6.5 or 8.4 inch size. And yes, the SX processor is required for the synthetic vision upgrade.

Yes, the Tach and the injector pulse signal both come from the ECU on the Viking engine.
The yellow wire for tach, and the white wire with the green stripe for fuel flow, should be hooked into the ECU

Re: Preferred Serial/429 Connections for GNC250 and GTX327
Matt The preferred Serial port for the GPS would be port 3 or 4. But it really can be put into any one of the 8 serial ports. Any of the ports can be configured for anything that you need to. The TXP is normally setup on serial port 7. Here is the serial setup layout that is on the website. http://g...

If there is a value other that 0 in the EIS the number on the HXr wont change. If you are entering it on both EIS and EFIS the EIS gets priority and will override the HXr setting. Set the fuel number on 0.0 and you will be able to adjust the value on the HXr.

Re: Green Arc on Map Screen
Jerry The green arc is the map position where you will get to your selected altitude. When you use the altitude bug during a climb or descent it shows you where on the map you will get to the selected altitude. the reason it moves in and out from your position is because of the changes in your verti...

You are correct that the GDL 88 does not communicate directly with the HXr. Unfortunately the information from the GDL 88 does not come through the GTN650 into the EFIS either. There is currently no way for us to read the information coming out of the GDL 88 for use in the EFIS systems.
