Re: Oil temperature sensor failure

Pascal It could be an indication of either one. if there is a short to ground or if there is an intermittent open, they both can cause erratic indications. check out your wiring, for continuity and for short to ground. you dont find any issues then it may be the sender. If it happens more and more f...

Re: EGT probes too small

The flange on the GRT Probe is large enough to cover the hole from the othe probes, so you can leave it if you would like to. Other wise the other option is to have the pipes welded and then drill a new hole the right size.

Re: EIS Tach fluctuation issues

Scott

If you are seeing the fluctuations in the RPM during run up RPM it is likely an interference. Try adding a 10K ohm 1/2watt 5% resistor in the line. this may drop the signal to the point you would need to use the high sensitivity setting on the EIS. it may clear things up.

The software change for the servos was only to deal with a hardware chage we had to make for the circuit boards. There is no functional changes to the software that need to be dealt with.

Re: EIS audio out

Jeff If you use the EIS audio output it will only give you EIS warned limit breaks. which is what you want I think. If you use the EFIS audio output it will warn all alarms engine and flight related. If you are blind mounting the EIS you wont have the ability to acknowledge the warning and the tone ...

Re: Pitch servo: Is this ok?

Tim

This is normal, the pitch servo has a trim sensing system in it that mounts the motor to the servo and makes it look like it "floats". It does allow some movement of the motor but that needs to be there to allow the trim sensing to work.

Re: Flashing (blinking ) fuel quantity

Bob

If it is blinking on the eis or efis then the number that is being displayed is outside of the parameters that you have set. check that your min and max for that aux are set where they need to be..

Clean and neat. I like that one, might need another screen on the right so you could have PFD, MAP, and ENG pages all at the same time.

Re: Converting from Electronic Ignition to Mags

The last page of the EIS manual on the website details adding the needed resistor to connect to the P-lead connection on the mag.

Re: Fuel flow

If you set the FF as a dial number 1 or 2 it will show on the right side of the bottom engine bar.
