Mode after missed approach
In the HX user manual dated Sept 2015, the last paragraph of 6.1.1 says that selecting Lat A/P to HDG after capture, the "arm(Capt) is set to off. (This is what happens to me in flight.) The first paragraph of 6.1.2 says the opposite, to set GNAV on hdg after ILS capture. Obviously, I am not un...

Re: No guidance to ILS
I did test this in the air today. Front course did not load at KBKV but accepted the course manually and flew perfectly via flight director and autopilot. At KPIE the front course loaded automatically and flew well also. KBKV LOC frequency had changed in July. That appears to be causing the problem....

Re: No guidance to ILS
Jeff: I tested this in the hangar yesterday using sim mode on the GPS. The localizer front course for KBKV did NOT load automatically and I had not caught that previously in the air. I tried again at KPIE and it did load automatically as I am use to. So there must be something in the database for KB...

No guidance to ILS
I am having problems with ILS approach. On two separate flights, the guidance given to the flight director/autopilot is incorrect to maintain the Localizer. Pitch is fine. Upper left shows LOC and ENAV in white as it should. Guidance keeps giving a right correction when I am already right of the loc...

N174MR Dual HX and Mini
Just added the Mini-X to copilot's side. EIS was moved out of view. HX's replaced WS's some years ago.

on the main GRT website, support, efis manuals, mini and you should be able to find all you need. After that call tech support.

Re: Issues with the EchoUAT
I would love to have the range filter. Seeing traffic 60 miles away is just clutter. I have no need to see traffic more than say 10 miles away. I do use and appreciate the altitude filter.

Re: New guy checking in
The bezel just goes on top. Uses the same mounting screws, so I think you will be ok. If you haven't flown GRT before, I think you will be very pleased with the HXr's.

Re: New guy checking in
Beautiful panel. Very nice. However, buy the bezel for the EIS to match your EFIS screens. Big visual improvement.
