Re: Fuel Qty reading Dial indicator Wrong.
From where the 0 needle is pointing I would think the digital/integer decimal places may be wrong. I think you can set these to points/ones/tens somewhere in there.

Re: Comm Remote "Flip Flop"
Is there a way to remote "Flip Flop" the Active and Standby freq. on the remote mounted Comms? I really only need one (Comm 1), but don't believe this has been implemented yet. This is already included on the HXr. The SWAP softkey, right side second button down will do this. On the right ...

Re: Flight Plan navigating
Katie, I can go back and forth between the Direct and the Sequence, but what I can't do is be off the flight plan, as if I'm given a vector off the filed flight plan, which happens all the time for traffic or whatever, and then the controller says, "now cleared Direct to the next fix". In ...

Re: Jeppesen Nav Database
Well, I've been using the JEPP databases in my Garmin GNC300XL for years and kept them up to date. I also just tried out the JEPP Navdata for the GRT. I just found one difference. Evidently Jepp decided that my airport (9A0) needed to be downgraded or something. I have been able to set up a syntheti...

Re: N8JL GRT HXr
Jeff, I mounted it flush and to me it works great. I get no glare, I can see everything great and have never thought "I wish I had tilted it". Good luck with it. I'm still learning all the features and still love it. I just got back from a 10 hour cross country and I really dug into the me...

Jeppesen Nav Database
Can you tell me if there is any displayed information difference in the Jeppesen $$ database and the free GRT supplied database?
Just wondering if I will get anymore information on screen with the Jeppesen one.

Flight Plan navigating
I've been building and flying Flt Plns to learn the system better. One thing I can't figure out how to do is when I get off the flight plan is to go back Direct To the next point and then resume the Flt pln. If I use the Direct button, it dumps the rest of the Flt plan. In the Sequence mode, there i...

Re: SkyRadar + Trig
I've been flying with my SkyRadar and Trig TT31 for some time now and it works as advertised. I get ADSB and TIS traffic. I have noticed that when I'm in a TIS area I sometimes get "ghosts", or double of the same target. The only difference is the altitude they are displaying. The ADSB tar...

Re: AP Gain Settings
Thanks Ben, Your last sentence was worth a bunch. (doubling or halving them) I never knew how much to start changing the percentages of gain. It's starting to make sense after reading this.
