I saw the prototype Mini-B EFIS side-by-side with several other stand-by EFIS's at Steinair's booth at Airventure. Including the Dynon D1. It looked like a clear winner with better screen IMHO and less depth. Hope it connects to the pitot/static system for actual airspeed not just GPS speed.

Remote mount EIS
There must be a zillion ways to remote mount the EIS box. But, since I do not have an RV, the avionics bay is unavailable to me. I have an aluminum instrument panel and a gas tank about 8 inches in front of the instrument panel. I'm thinking "glove box" on the right side of the 2 seater's ...
