Re: Voltage Readings
Each unit is measuring the voltage at its input. The EIS computes its own voltage and sends the digital value over to the EFIS. It can also have a difference, but the difference should be smaller than the EFIS simply because the EIS uses less power. The EFIS can display the voltage from all 3 of its...

Re: Wind Vector
If you don't start at north, the magnetometer calibration function will see that as an additional magnetic field error and try to correct it back, so you will have a constant heading error of a few degrees when you're done. The rate doesn't need to be constant. The AHRS is trying to collect data poi...

Re: HXr and Garmin GNC 255A
The 255 should work just like an SL30, and you shouldn't need the ARINC connection (the SL30 doesn't have ARINC). If you have more than one EFIS screen, do not connect more than one screen output to the 255. An input can only connect to one output.

Re: Trig TT-22 ADSB
That kind of pin prevents two transmitters from transmitting at the same time. The receivers don't have a pin for this. Did I miss one of the questions? The EFIS shows all the traffic it gets from all sources at the same time. That means if two sources have the same target, that target will be shown...

Re: Using the Flight Plan on HWS
The older EFIS models (WS and HS) do not have this function, which is called "Go Direct" in the newer software on the HX, HXr, and SX. In the older software, you would have to switch to direct-to mode to fly to the waypoint, then switch back to the sequence mode and change the leg.

Re: How to get ADSB GPS position?
It should work with any ADS-B receiver that has GPS data and uses the standard ownship message, although we haven't tried it with a Dual. You can check the Own counter in the SET MENU, Display Unit Maintenance, ADS-B Status, Traffic Counters line, to at least see that the message is coming in, altho...

Re: Mini Panel for Sonex
1. Two Mini's can talk to each other in the same way that a Mini can talk to another EFIS model. We haven't worked on this configuration, though. A. Yes, the Mini's send SL30 data over the link and read SL30 data from the link. B. Magnetometer data does not go over the link. Each unit would need a m...

Re: Wind Vector
The wider dashed lines are +/- 30 degrees, which is a large correction. Large corrections indicate strong interference and possibly a less reliable heading. It will still work if the interference is unchanging. If control movements, turning lights on and off, transmitting on the radio, basically any...

Re: Fuel Bar Graph Total
The combined fuel bar graph only shows whole numbers due to limited space. You would have to configure individual fuel bar graphs in the other bar graph areas to get decimal points.

Re: GPS Navigator?
We have some remote receiver hardware, but no software yet. Our goal is to have some approach software by the end of the year.
