Re: Use VP-X Traim and Flap Position Data

Thanks Jeff. Looks like the indicators now show correctly when G is set to "Auto".

Use VP-X Trim and Flap Position Data

How do I set up the HXr to use the VP-X trim status/position and flap position data? This is clearly shown on the VP-X page, but: 1) How does this get displayed on the MFD? The manuals note that if the trim is attached to the EFIS directly, then this is displayed automatically. What about when the t...

Re: Westech Fuel Sender Setup

Set the scale factor (SF) to half the capacity of the tank (or the calibrated capacity of the sender)
So, for a tank with a capacity of 26 gallons, the scale factor would be entered as "13"; correct?

Re: WiFi Push of Waypoints from Flight Apps

The irony is that if one is going IFR, then sending the flight plan from an iPad to a GTN625 would likely serve the same purpose, as then the plan is updated from the GTN to the MFD.
Correct?

Re: touch screen

One should not read the above as being a request for exclusive means to enter info. Both means should be there. Using a dial to find "5" is, for many of us, way more tedious than hitting "5" on a standard layout keypad on the screen. Just setting up the EFIS, for instance, would ...
