So, for a tank with a capacity of 26 gallons, the scale factor would be entered as "13"; correct?Set the scale factor (SF) to half the capacity of the tank (or the calibrated capacity of the sender)

Hi Guys,
I'm seriously looking at the IFD410 as opposed to the GTN625 for the IFR GPS source. I would imagine this would integrate rather seamlessly into the GRT stack, however, what are your thoughts here?

The irony is that if one is going IFR, then sending the flight plan from an iPad to a GTN625 would likely serve the same purpose, as then the plan is updated from the GTN to the MFD.

One should not read the above as being a request for exclusive means to enter info. Both means should be there. Using a dial to find "5" is, for many of us, way more tedious than hitting "5" on a standard layout keypad on the screen. Just setting up the EFIS, for instance, would ...
