Re: HX: Is the Audio Output working on Pin 24, Connector B?
I am not the right person to answer this, except to say that I asked Carlos a year ago about xm music and he said then that it was not in their plans. As an aside, I have a portable xm radio in my car. I bought another car instalation mount and antenna from xm, mounted them in my airplane, hard wire...

Not working yet. Of course it is a lot easier to wire now, than later.

Re: Trim & Flap Position Indicator - how shown on display?
See users manual page 2.1 for a picture of PFD display. Flaps/trim will also show on engine page.
Hint: on PFD you can show either trim/flaps OR g meter, not both. Set g meter to " display when limits are exceeded".

Re: ALERTS
GRT is likely at sun n fun. I would ask:
Is bus 2 hooked up?
At what voltge level is the alarm set for?
What does the efis say the voltage is (you can have it displayed as a bar on engine page)?
These questions would narrow down the search.

Re: Trim Position Sensor and the HX
That was my post. If you are using a Ray Allen servo/position sensor, the sensor has 3 wires - one from each end of a rheostat, and one (I think it is green) from the variable slider tap. You can do the following: in either case hook up the green variable slider tap wire to one of your HX's analog i...

Katie,
On the software page, if I click on the picture of the Horizon HX I get the software; but if I click on the words "Horizon HX" just below the picture I get the Sport software. I'm using an ipad.

Re: TFR Info
I do not know but I would guess that it's the same as mine - I have XM weather.
On a map page, TFRs appear as a red circle. Push the right knob, turn it to go to "radar sweep" mode until it highlights the red circle, push knob to bring up specific details (times, altitudes, etc).

Re: Max recording time?
My HX stores 55 data points every second. After about 8 to 10 minutes it writes it all to the memory stick. This takes 8 seconds, during which no data is saved. Then it starts again; save data, write, etc. Subsequent files on the stick are identified as +1, +2, etc., in the file name. This is with t...
