WiFi Push of Waypoints from Flight Apps

So, as many of us know, the Garmin and Dynon platforms support push of waypoints from flight planning apps (such as Foreflight) to the EFIS over WiFi (saving the rather annoying task of entering the flight plan twice on a hot tarmac). How is this accomplished in the HXr?

We're working on WiFi for later this year. Right now, the only way to send a flight plan from an app is through Bluetooth on an Android device. I think there's only one app besides ours that supports this. The others are waiting until we have WiFi.

Thanks Jeff. This is a huge and welcome shift from GRT. Does this also mean we can expect an iOS version of the management application? With foreflight and xavion in the cockpit (both iOS only), literally this would be the sole remaining challenge.

We don't currently have plans to make an iOS version of our app. We aren't set up to do that and there's a lot more work involved with making an iOS app. After the other iOS apps add support for transferring flight plans and data with our system we'll look into it again.

Any progress on integration with Foreflight?

We postponed our WiFi plans again so there hasn't been any progress.

When we added Bluetooth we assumed we would have WiFi later, so the menus are structured for both. The units still don't have the drivers, control, or user interface software for WiFi and it is a lower priority than the approaches and a couple other items.
