Swap command not Swapping HS sport

Post by flfox77 »

How can I get SWAP to work on my PFD to MFD? Is there a lock in Set-up? I have unlocked on the onscreen menu in normal ops.

The only lock is the PFD LOCK, which is a button on the PFD page. Make sure that is off. Otherwise it has to be an issue with the Inter-Display Link settings. One screen has to have its Link ID set to Primary, and the other should be set to Auto or 2. Then make sure data is going both directions over the link. You can try changing the selected heading on each screen and make sure the change transfers to the other screen within a second.

Thanks Jeff. I will try to adjust the link settings and test per your instructions. :D

Were you able to change the selected heading from each display and see the change on the other within a second? Make sure to test this from each screen. If the serial connection doesn't work both ways the swap will fail. Do the Power Up / ACCEPT pages for each screen report report "OK" for Inter-Display Link Communication?
