Analog Function: Dimmer -> Inter-Display

On the HXR, I have an analog input set to dimmer. The HXR will dim correctly when I change the analog voltage, but it doesn't transfer to the Inter-display serial link, to dim the Mini-X too. I have 'Dimmer Link' on, and if you manually change the dims with the GRT knob, it transfers the dims correctly. So I know inter-display works.

The Mini is not reading the analog dimmer data from the HXr. We'll fix this in a future software update.

MolsonB,

Did you select a dimmer rheostat by chance for this function? I was looking at a similar setup - always looking for existing solutions.

I'm using my own microcontroller to interface with the HXr & mini. Basically my tablet will control the microcomputer, which sends out the analog voltage to change the brightness.
Waiting for them to release the 'Inter-Link' serial or bluetooth protocols so I don't have to mess with external circuitry.

But yes, a simple rheostat will work fine. Easy to setup.
