Attitude info on Map Page

Post by billfear »

I heard somewhere that there is a way to show a attitude horizon on the Map pages. I want to check this out as an enroute tool. I looked through the manual and my setup screens for my HS but do not see how to turn it on. anyone know how this works?

I think there is a selection on the map set up page. The GRT folks I am sure are not focused on this forum during Oshkosh.

User manual, page 3-7, shows how to display an attitude line on one of the map sub-pages, I think it is flight planning? I don't think it will display on the main map page, though. GRT?

The WS, HS, and HX have split pages for showing the attitude and moving map at the same time. The flight plan pages can show limited attitude data in the background with the "PFD" knob function. Only the HXr has a small PFD box (inset) that can be displayed on the full map page.
