HX cooling tube location -- best position?

Post by hplevyak »

Folks,
With hot weather approaching....I'd like to position a cooling tube to the back side of each of my GRT HX dual displays. Can someone tell me the best location to direct the cooling air for maximum effect of keeping the GRT displays cool?

Thanks!
Howard (GlaStar, Dual GRT HX, EIS 4000...and such a schaweet setup)

The main processor heat sinks to the back of the unit, so cooling air should be directed at the back of the unit. The fan on the unit takes air in through the circular hole pattern on the back near the bottom. You want cool air available there for the fan to take in. That air will cool the power supplies and help cool the main processor. Air exits through the holes at the top.
