Looking for instructions on calibrating the fuel levels on the EIS on the aux inputs.
You have something like that around?
The EIS manual tells us to use the SF and Off #'s that came with the device, but of course this is not the case for the fuel tanks.
I tried a buddies numbers to start with, but my full tanks read -7. His were resistive. Mine capacitive so that may explain it.
Also my VDO fuel pressure sensor (injected version to 80psi I think) did not come with any numbers either in the kit. You ahve some #'s for those?
Thanks

Calibrating Fuel Levels
Re: Calibrating Fuel Levels
Mike
With the 301 ohm resister installed between the 4.8 excitation and the aux line. And the aux line connected to the pressure sender(Parallel the 4.8v excitation line with the Aux line through the resister). The values are
with the 80 PSI sender
AuxSF is 91
AuxOFF is 15
If it is the 150 PSI sender
AuxSF is 182
AuxOff is 29
Here is a link i found to the probe calibration page. It has instructions for both 2 and 5 setpoint probes.

Hope this helps
