Fluctuating CHT

Eis 4000 fitted to lyc0360, after a year of use the CHT on ALL 4 cylinders during crusie suddenly drops approx 50deg giving a cool rate alarm - then after a few seconds returns to normal. Occurs every so often but no continuous error. No egt change. Looking for an idea what this might be - must be the instrument ?
