GRT Avionics

Oil pressure reads 4 without engine running and reads 99 when engine running. We checked grounds, OK.

Called GRT and they sent us a loaner EIS box to try. Still same problem. Oil Pressure input doesn't have any programable parameters to set. What could it be? Maybe GRT sent us the wrong sensor?

All OK. After tracing problem through. Resistors were incorrectly placed on those sensors.

Since new my EIS 4000 showed 75 psi oil press and very steady, idle or cruise rpm.. (914) Rotax, after 275 hrs, it dropped to 37 to 45 and continues to fluctuate, replaced sensor and oil pressure regulator to new design bullet type. Still same readings and fluctuation, purchased new car oil pressure gauge for direct reading and pressure is steady and reading about 52 psi. Why would I get a steady 75 for first 275 hours???
