Princeton fuel probe installation

Fuel probe originally improperly installed resulting in little leaks. Now reinstalling using the OEM installation kit. Would appreciate any tips. One of my concerns is installing the rubber O-ring on probe itself -- possibility of it dropping into the fuel tank? Viper
