FUEL Probe: Calibration issues

I am endeavoring to recalibrate a two set point fuel probe that is about ten years old. When I apply power with button pushed down, only the center light flashes and no other lights are on. In the instructions, this display is NOT mentioned. Any ideas??? Thanks
