Tank Level Sensitivity

Post by Bayou Bert »

Jeff had told me one time how to reduce the tank levels moving with every slosh.
It was reducing the update or sensitivity so the levels appear steady.
Does anyone remember how to do that? I'll write it down this time.

Thanks
Bert

Every analog input on the HXr has a digital filter (DF). Go to SET MENU, Display Unit Maintenance, Analog Inputs, and change the Analog Detail to "Raw data and filtering". This will show you all the Digital Filter (DF) settings and allow you to change them like any other setting. DF1 means no filtering. Higher numbers mean more filtering.

Thanks Jeff. When I do that I will see the filter setting by each one?
Adjusting, say left tank, will have no effect on anything else, right?

Thanks

Correct. Each input has its own DF# setting that will appear at the right end of the line.
