Fuel pressure indication, Analog input with HXr EFIS

Post by glk0346 »

Need some help.

I originally used my EIS, Aux Input setting 3 for my fuel pressure but have since gone to the Analog ports on my HXr EFIS. Do I use the same Aux Off and Scale Factor settings as I used with the EIS Install Manual? In short, how do I configure that Analog port for fuel pressure reading?

I have perused over the "Use of VDO 80 and 150 PSI Pressure Senders with EIS Aux Input" but find it a bit confusing. For one the fuel pressure for a LY O-320 is .5 - 8 PSI. So, I don't see how a 80 PSI sender would work in my configuration.

Any recommendation and or comments would be greatly appreciated.

The Scale Factor and Offset would be the same.

We have a 2 bar (28 psi) sender that can be used for fuel pressure or coolant, GRT part LPS-02. The document title is "Use of VDO 0-30 psi Pressure Sender with EIS Auxiliary Input".
