What is the HXr equivalent to the HX’s ‘ARM’ function?

Post by BillinDurham »

I’ve been fly with several HXs, a G430w and a TruTrak AP. Recently replaced one HX with an HXr. During my initial attempts at flying an LPV approach using the procedures I used on the HX, I am unable to find the ‘ARM’ function or figure out what it’s equivalent is. (I have a call back from tech support requested earlier today)

I had loaded my settings from the HX into the HXr but I’m sensing more than a few differences.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The first push of the right knob from the PFD main menu gives you the mode functions (and altitude select), including LAT A/P, VERT A/P, and ARM. Unlike the HX which has these on more than one menu, this is the only menu where these functions appear on the HXr.

Thanks Jeff. Found it, flew it, all good again.

Lot’s of change in the UI for the former HX user.
