Hi folks
I have a Sport Ex in my Long Ez....... and this winter thinking of adding elevator and aileron autopilot servos. Does anyone have servo mounting ideas, pictures, thoughts..... and info that I could have or steal.
Thanks ............
excited to try and do this.

Long Ez auto pilot servo mounting???
Re: Long Ez auto pilot servo mounting???
I have one picture, but I mounted mine using GRT universal mount. I mounted the Elevator servo on F22. I didn't want holes thru F22, so I used click bonds. I put a couple of holes in the Click bond base and glued them to F22. I put 2 plies of BID over the click bond base. You will need to make your own rods to connect to the elevator torque tube. For the elevator torque tube, I used this part https://www.selectfirellc.com/Long-EZ-V ... p_180.html.
For the roll servo, I mounted the servo looking at the engine on the right side just above the roll rod. I couldn't put it on the left side as I had some electrical disconnects there. I would I think be better on the left side. Again, i used click bonds to mount the servo using GRT universal mount. Again, you have to make your own rods. On the aileron control rod, I mounted a 1/2 piece of aluminum, sorry, can't remember how I connected the rod. When I get to my plane, I will check.
I had a picture of the pitch servo, but I couldn't figure out how to attach it to this thread. Hope this helps some.
