I am attempting to figure out how my EIS 4000 (4000P) works for the fuel-injected Viking engine.
It is pre-programed ( Fuel flow Option using Injector timing) ( fuel-injector pulse width fuel flow)
I am assuming that the Tackometer signal from the ECU is where the EIS also receives the fuel-injector pulse width signal.
Is that correct?

Yes, the Tach and the injector pulse signal both come from the ECU on the Viking engine.
The yellow wire for tach, and the white wire with the green stripe for fuel flow, should be hooked into the ECU
