TT22 and Flightbox data to HXr

Postby Clam » Mon Nov 12, 2018 5:04 pm

Hi folks,
I have a Flightbox 978/1090 ADS-B in gadget that connects via WiFi to an iPad. Works pretty well. I want to hard wire to my HXr. I have the supplements and the mechanics of that are straightforward and I have the required wires on hand. My question is that if I do this, will I get duplicate traffic information with the Trig TT22 feeding TIS data as well?
Thanks

... Spoke with the Trig rep at Mid-Continent... he advised the best scenario is to not use the ADS-B (TIS) “in” function of the TT22 if you use a UAT/1090 receiver, but rather hard wire only the UAT/1090 box in.
