Does it matter which side of the push rod (arm type) or cable (capstan type) the servo motor is mounted? With the same rotation direction on one side it would "push" and on the other side it would "pull", i.e. move the control surface in the correct direction or move it in the opposite direction.
Are there instructions for mounting the capstan version for use with control cables?
Servo Mounting Questions
Re: Servo Mounting Questions
The side doesn't matter. The direction of rotation is configured in the EFIS menu and you will test and set that as part of the setup procedure.
We don't have our own capstan instructions. The TruTrak, xCruze, and Dynon servos generally mount the same way so you can use any examples and instructions you see for those.
