Flight Data Systems has an ADSB unit that is advertised as being supported by GRT. Is this true? Or wishful thinking?

I flight tested the "Remote" model via serial port on an SX prior to its release/announcement.

Yes, it is true, thanks to James & Jeff! I like the Pathfinder Remote because its serial interface offers a low-cost option for our older Horizon/Sport WS and HS systems, which cannot support USB.
We just posted information on the Pathfinder on our website: http://grtavionics.com/pathfinder.htm And of course a lot of information can be found on the FDS website: http://www.fdatasystems.com/pathfinder-remote/

Re: Flight Data Systems
I installed a Pathfinder remote in our RV7a yesterday and flew today to verify that it picked up ADSB weather and it worked great. The installation was simple, just 4 wires and coax to an antenna. We have HX EFIS boxes. Planning to install another unit in our RV10 next week.

Re: Flight Data Systems
I also installed a Pathfinder remote in our RV10 last week and made the test flight and found it picked up 2 ADSB ground stations at 400 feet above our home airport. In the RV10, I mounted the Pathfinder remote behind the baggage compartment wall next to the dual ahars. When I upgraded the panel to GRT HXs 3 years ago, I installed a shelf for the AHARS and left room for whatever was to be installed next. I also had run spare wires to the instrument panel. So the install was fairly easy, hook up the power, ground, ADSB in to HX and GPS out to Pathfinder. I mounted a Delta Pop Aviation external antenna on the belly which works great. I was wondering if the wifi signal would make it through the baggage wall to the front seat and it does.
One issue left. I have yet to get the gps signal out of the HX to be recogized by the Pathfinder. Does anyone have the port setting that worked for them? Wing X seems to work fine on an iPad 3 with its gps so not really sure what the GPS Receive signal is used for. I have been using Wing X on a 30 day trial and will probably buy it next week.
The other issue GRT has is the TFR do not get displayed on the HX. This is a BIG issue that probably is costing GRT new sales. It must get fixed, or at least communicate a plan to release a fix by some future date.
