GRT Avionics

On my HXr I can not seem to get the AOA to calibrate, according to the instructions
"To calibrate:
1. Change this entry to start calibration. The
EFIS will return to the PFD screen, and will
show the pitch limit indicator and AOA indexer
on the screen, with the right knob showing
"ADJUST" and a value above it."
When I try to calibrate I don't get the "pitch limit indicator or the AOA indexer" on screen, I do get the right knob with "Adjust" above.
any suggestions?

Just guesses:

Did you turn aoa on in the set up?
Does the display currently have blank in the area where the aoa display goes? If you already assigned something else to that area the aoa may be prempted out.

Only the pitch limit indicator appears during calibration. It also only works while in flight. It could be off the top of the screen if a large adjustment is needed. You can activate the calibration function while playing a DEMO if you want to see how it works while on the ground.
