GRT Avionics

I would like to use serial altitude encoder data from my Mini EFIS to supply the mode C on my Becker BXP6401 transponder.
The transponder serial port only has the following data format options:
GARMIN / TRIMBLE
NORTHSTAR UPS AT (BECKER BE6400)
LORAN
MAGELLAN
SHADIN
ARNAV

Can the Mini EFIS provide a data format compatible with this transponder, and if so, how should I set up the Mini serial port output?

You can use the Garmin/Trimble format by setting one of the serial outputs to "AltEnc1/Altitude Encoder #1". The default format for AltEnc1 is Garmin/Trimble. You may have to guess the serial port rate. It could be 1200, 2400, 4800, or 9600. The AltEnc1 Serial Format can also be changed to the Northstar, UPS AT, and Magellan formats.

The Shadin format may be compatible with our Fuel/Air Data (S Format) or Fuel/Air Data (Z Format) serial outputs. The serial port rate would be 9600 for those.
