Sport SX

GRT recognizes that most flying is not hard IFR .  Not every pilot needs the Horizon HX redundancy and features.  With this in mind we set out to design a system built on our legacy Sport's success, the Sport SX, for experimental and lightsport aircraft.

The Sport SX is designed to provide a low-cost EFIS (electronic flight information system) with room for growth and expansion with optional ARINC-429, faster processor, vertical autopilot commands, shaded color map, and synthetic vision. Yes, synthetic vision. The Sport SX with synthetic vision has 10 miles forward visibility, shaded color mapping, and terrain collision warning.

Standard Sport SX unit comes with 4 serial ports and two power inputs.

Available options include:
·        Internal AHRS
·        CPU/GPU upgrade -faster processor, desirable for weather and general improved      performance
·        Synthetic Vision and shaded color map (AHRS and CPU/GPU upgrade required)
·        Vertical autopilot commands to GPSV capable autopilot (ARINC-429 option required)
·        ARINC 429 - interfaces 4/500 series GPS navigators and GPSS autopilots
·        8.4 inch display, same resolution as 6.5 inch (640 x 480), easier to read
·       Internal GPS -1hz update, good primary or backup to other GPS units
·        Engine Package (EIS)
·        XM weather
