Does the sensed AoA depend on inputs other than the two ports in the pitot tube?

Someone recently experienced a static blockage with Dynon's AoA, which adversely affected the calculated AoA: https://vansairforce.net/threads/close-call-stall-on-final.238764/

I assumed the same would apply to GRT ...
