Another vote for the bundle!
I have a friend at our airport that just installed this, waiting for feedback but the setup looks very promising and attractive in price and easy upgrade/install.

Re: HUD
Sputnik, It does focus at around 8 ft when you have no background(i.e. A wall or other object that is closer to focus on). I found that it does require some training of the brain to fully adapt to this. GRT does a great job on making the view minimalistic to keep from blocking your view but every on...

Re: Navworx ads600-exp
Thanks for all the replies/info. I guess I have 4 more years to figure this out! I think my best path forward is to remove my end of life GNS250 and mode c gtx330 for a 430W and trig 22, keeping my skyradar for ADSB in...hopefully demand/prices for 430W's go down!

Re: HUD
Ok so I've had my first flight with the HUD. I'm on the fence (being brutally honest). I'm gonna keep the glasses as they have other applications I'm interested in. The best way I can describe the experience is for those of us who transitioned from steam gauges to an EFIS how we had to "retrain...

Navworx ads600-exp
I have the sky radar. So I have ADSB in. But no out. I have a garmin GTX-330 mode C. Should I do a trig 22(but still have to worry about gps) OR navworxs just released an all-in-one in/out ADSB solution WITH gps that satisfies the 2020 rule....they are having supply problems at the moment but what a...

Re: Audio out wiring question
Bob,
Thanks! Yes I have an HXr, Should have clarified. My manual says B25 is NC and B23 is a serial 7 in...I don't see any ground on the B connector in the latest revision (A5) of the install manual.
I can always get ground from somewhere close.

HUD
Didn't see a HUD thread. Not sure one is needed but I've ordered mine and I'll put up user reports here. For those interested it utilizes the Epson Moverio BT-200 Hardware. I was able to try it at OSH15 and was very optimistic with it's ability to provide situational awareness without having to look...

Re: Flight Log Edit?
Yep! The flight logs on mine are stored in the root drive of the USB. They have Demo dates on them. Delete the ones that have been created and you start over. I record every flight so I have hundreds of these on the stick. If you have a 64G stick it takes a LONG time to fill it up(depending on use).
