Jeff,
I tried your suggestion on the Default Page and it works well!
Thanks,
Glenn

Re: Feature Requests
First off, I like the 2.0 software update. The new screens are great, especially the PFD/MAP/Plate screen. That said, I really like the split screen PFD mode, but having to press 4 buttons each time to enable it is a pain. Why isn't this mode loaded like the others? Please change that. :P Also, bump...

Re: Fuel totalizer fuel remaining - decimal/integer
Jerry,
Thanks, but that wasn't the problem. However, I did just find what was. The HXr is displaying the Fuel Remaining in a dial. The dial scale was set to 1. I changed it to 0.1 and now it works correctly.
Regards,
Glenn

Re: Preferred Serial/429 Connections for GNC250 and GTX327
Right, but I was thinking that if you had the ARINC connection then perhaps you didn't need the RS-232. However, looking at the 430 supplement it looks like you need both. Sorry if I jumped to a conclusion.

Re: Preferred Serial/429 Connections for GNC250 and GTX327
I noticed in the HX Setup Guide on page 2-9 it says: NOTE: When both the analog, and serial outputs from a navigation receiver are wired to the EFIS, the EFIS will use, in order of priority: 1. ARINC 429 serial data 2. RS-232 serial data 3. Analog data Sounds like using ARINC 429 and RS-232 is redun...

Fuel totalizer fuel remaining - decimal/integer
The fuel totalizer fuel remaining displayed on the HXr is an integer but the entered value seems to be decimal. So when I added 35.0 gallons of fuel it is displaying 350 gallons. I can't seem to find the setting to change that on the HXr or the EIS. Does anyone know where that is configured?

Re: Minimum Config with EIS 4000 and HXr
I just completed a similar installation in a Velocity. I mounted the EIS just forward of the gear bulkhead facing up so I could access the panel to configure it on the ground. Do not set any limits in the Set Pages, those will trigger alarms in the EIS that you won't be able to respond to. Instead y...

N697RG Velocity Elite HXr, EIS, autopilot and SkyRadar
I just upgraded from a Dynon D10A, standard six-pack, STEC-50 and VM1000. The Dynon was demoted to backup EFIS. I kept the Apollo stack and Garmin 496 with XM for now, but I'm planning to complete the panel with the TT22 and a WAAS GPS. The HXr is amazing! This picture was taken in flight on my way ...
