Re: IFR Databases

Ok, so both basically. The 175 to know what to do, and the Seattle charts to display it on the HXr in a meaningful way. Is this correct?

IFR Databases

I have my HXr Touch set up with a 175 driving it for IFR. I'm just now in the position to configure the system for IFR training. The question is one of the databases. Do I need both the Seattle Aviation database (IFR) for the HXr and separately the Garmin 175 Nav update (I assume the 175 needs the p...

Re: Reducing CT Noise

Thanks Jeff. Is there a relationship between the settings under the DF and accuracy? I got the jitter eliminated and set the offsets to zero out the CTs when not loaded (these CTs are measuring the alternator/generators), but I somewhat doubt the values toward the high end of the reading. For instan...

Audio Pulse

With only the EFIS and related avionics up, I get a 1 second low amplitude pulse on the intercom. I have the PAC15EX installed. The pulse is not lighting related - its from avionics. I wonder if it is an alarm (but not sure from where). The pulse presents when the engine is not on and power to avion...

Reducing CT Noise

I have some CTs attached to both the EFIS and also EIS. The sample rate seems to be around .5s (30hz), more or less. Unfortunately, this means the numbers jump around +/- 3 amps (more or less) all the time. This is quite noisy and distracting. Is there a way to reduce the noise (does not need to be ...

Re: FLIR USB input or other camera?

Jeff,

What adapters are supported other than the Hauppauge 610? Pretty much every modern camera is HDMI out. Is there a specific HDMI adapter where the chipset is supported?

Re: Sending GPS Data Over Serial to a Device

Worked. The E-04 was expecting 0183 and the setting change fit the bill. Thx.

Re: Use VP-X Trim and Flap Position Data

Please add to customer feedback for a feature change. Dynon has this feature, and I am sure others as well. To me, this is table stakes.

Sending GPS Data Over Serial to a Device

I have an ACK GPS connected to EFIS PDF 1 (in a two screen system) to EFIS Serial 4 Output. The EIS is using EFIS Serial 4 Input, both at 9600b.

How do I direct NEMA GPS data to output on this port?

Re: Use VP-X Trim and Flap Position Data

Jeff, is there a way to set an audio flap down alarm as speed approaches Vfe? I don't see an obvious setting and I don't see anything in the documentation.
