Re: PIC Settings
Jeff can confirm or correct this, but I believe the PIC data is for use by GRT technicians only. There is no need for the end user to update PIC software-- All software changes are incorporated into the mainstream software updates, which are available on the GRT website.

Re: Recommended USB hub?
For more information about installing the SkyRadar or Dual ADS-B receivers, there's a supplement for each one on this page: http://grtavionics.com/supplements.html There is some info about USB hubs in there, but I don't think it's anything different from what James just told you.

Attitude Adjustment
OK, so it's really late but you get a two-fer! (Not really... I just forgot to post on the Forum last week.) Last week's FOW was how to use the Automatic Logbook feature. This week's FOW is How to Set the Pitch Ladder Offset, and using other features of the Attitude Indicator. For some reason we've ...

Re: Engine Bar Graph
Mike, Just my opinion after flying behind GRT equipment for close to 500 hours... I can't speak for Greg and Jeff as to why they initially designed the EFIS display the way they did, but I agree with them. As a pilot, I would rather NOT see so much yellow and red down there on the engine page during...

Re: Preferred Serial/429 Connections for GNC250 and GTX327
Hi Matt, I'll leave the serial/ARINC questions to the people who've used them! :geek: I can tell you we have a GTX327 supplement that will tell you how to wire and set that up. http://grtavionics.com/supplements.html All the documentation you will find in the HX manuals about wiring and setup for th...

Re: ULPower fuel consumption output?
Hi Skee, yes it does. The Pulse FF option in the EIS package is software that reads the ECU fuel output.

Creating & Using Checklists in your EFIS
All GRT EFIS systems have the ability to display custom checklists. They can even display parameters right on the checklist itself to avoid flipping through the ENG or PFD pages. Pretty neat! The HXr interface makes using your own checklists even easier. Check it out in this week's Feature: http://g...

Data Logging
Now that Jeff has made and released this wonderful screenshot capture "SNAP" button, I figured it was time to talk about Data Recording on your EFIS- What kinds of files you can save, how to gather them, and what to do with them. I rely on screenshots and demo files from Team AeroDynamix f...
