Can an HX and a Mini-X share the same magnetometer, or do I have to install one for each?
Thanks,

Re: "torque enhancer" versus "capstan" servo mounts
Well, shoot, I thought someone might have some info on this.
I'm all set to order a Mini-X, two servos, and the servo mounts once I figure out which mount to order.

"torque enhancer" versus "capstan" servo mounts
GRT now offers two types of servo mounts to work with cable driven systems, one they call a "torque enhancer", and one that is called a "capstan". I want to install two autopilot servos in my flying Glastar, but am not sure which type of mount would be best. Does anyone have any ...

EIS 6000 hookup to HX
On page 34 of the EIS manual, it states that to update software via the EFIS, a serial output from the EFIS to the EIS must be hooked up. I have used Serial port 4 on the EFIS for serial in and serial out to the EIS, hooked to the appropriate pins 10 and 11 on the EIS. In the software config on the ...

Magnetometers
Trying to think ahead for a possible Mini-X installation.
How close can you mount two magnetometers? Can they be mounted side by side, or on top of each other, or is there a minimum distance between magnetometer units?
Thanks,
-Dj

Re: Paired, but no joy
Okay, new Nexus 7 works fine using Android 4.3 that it came with, and also Android 4.4.2 that it upgraded to shortly after enabling the Wifi connection.

Re: Paired, but no joy
I borrowed a Samsung tablet from a friend in our EAA Chapter, running 4.2.2. Works fine, no issues. So apparently there is something specific with the Asus Meno Pad HD 7 that is not compatible with the GRT App. Too bad because otherwise it is a nice tablet. I will try to sell this one and buy a Nexu...

Re: Paired, but no joy
As a test I just tried doing a factory reset, wiping the tablet clean, and starting from scratch. Reloaded the GRT app, re-paired the tablet and the EFIS. It pairs just fine, but the app always says link lost, even letting it sit there for several minutes with it running. If anyone has thoughts as t...

Re: Paired, but no joy
Hi Jeff, That is a bit disheartening. I was hoping you would find a glaring problem with 4.2.2 along with an equally obvious and easy fix... :-) A test app might be useful for troubleshooting. Any feedback is better than none, which is what I have to work with at present. Other than allowing the OS ...
