Re: Mini and engine data / ADS-B
1. For engine data what is required to get the engine parameters to the Mini? I didn't see this specified on the web page. 2. Same question for ADS-B - what is required to feed the data to the Mini? I was curious about the same thing, and this is what I believe to be true. 1) You will need the GRT ...

Or, maybe mount a small Android tablet near the top of the glareshield and use the GRT app?

Re: Trig control - ident
Correct, pin 13 on the TT22 needs to be grounded for the TT22 to power on. This is normally controlled by the Trig control head, but if you are using the EFIS as the control head instead, you'll need to ground it.

Re: Navworx ads600-exp
it puts out "ADSB+" format over RS232. This has all the needed info. Both the 330-ES and the Trig -31 can read that format; last time I looked the -22 could not (Trig said "soon" last spring). Trig just released a software update a few weeks ago for the TT22 that supports the AD...

Re: Mini-X calibration error "moved too fast"
Do you have the latest software installed on the Mini? This issue was corrected awhile ago with a software update (it was happening to me too).

Re: Recording engine data
There should be a USB port on the back of the EFIS. "MFD" means "multi function display", which is the EFIS (as compared to the AHRS, or the magnetometer, etc).

Re: Airspeed indication
You just aren't going fast enough. The Sport Installation manual lists Airspeed Range (Standard) SX200: 35-285 mph IAS SX200A 20-330 mph IAS.

Re: Mini-X, TT22, and Garmin GNS480
The GNS480 is currently able to output Garmin ADS-B+ format with a recent software update. I was under the mistaken impression that the TT22 already supported the Garmin ADS-B+ format when matched with the Garmin 430W and 530W units. I didn't know that Trig doesn't support that format yet. No worrie...

Mini-X, TT22, and Garmin GNS480
I'm currently trying to figure out the proper configurations settings for a combination of Mini-X, Trig TT22 transponder, and Apollo CNX80 (Garmin GNS480). I have the Mini-X setup using the TMAP lines to the Trig TT22, so I am not using the GRT serial adapter. I have a serial link from the GNS480 go...
