Re: Mag Timing Check.
maybe the wiser move is to not mess with one of the mags so as to guarantee that a short/failure in the EFIS doesn't take both mags off line. What do you think? The EFIS isn't connected to the mags, so it won't take either of them out if it shorts or goes dead. The EIS has two separate inputs, one ...

Re: OAT Pass thru over interlink
Do you have the very latest software installed on the Mini? Jeff added this in the last update.

Re: Mini Panel for Sonex
Hi Gordon, I have a Mini-X connected to an HX via serial, and it should work similar to two Mini's hooked together. If I'm wrong, I'm sure Jeff or Katie will chime in here. 1) Yes, they should be able to be linked, and you can set one as the Master and the other as a secondary - this is how my HX an...

Re: ADS-B Out compliance
Is a Mini-B compliant as a GPS source for ADS-B out? Yes, it is an acceptable GPS source for ADS-B Out up until the 2020 mandate. Once we hit the year 2020, we will need to use a TSO compliant GPS for ADS-B Out services. One hopes that there are affordable compliant GPS sources by then... -Dj

Re: USB Questions
The question was why GRT is sending a USB hub without the power cord! The hub they send needs a special plug-in power cord. There is no terminals to supply 12volts to it! I did not understand your question either, which is why I hadn't responded back. Which USB hub did GRT send you? I thought you w...

Re: USB Questions
StarTech 4-port USB Hub, p/n ST4200USBM, available from Amazon.com. 7-24V DC So does the USB hub sent with the HX need to be powered? I have the Startech unit, and it does need to be powered. It does not come with a power cable. You just use regular wire, and hook to the green block that you can ...

Re: Mini-X and TT22
As a followup to this, it turns out that Pin 13 on the TT22 must be tied to ground in order for the internal power supply in the TT22 to activate. Pin 13 is normally connected to the Trig TC20 control head, which grounds this pin when told to power on the TT22. Katie is going to add this info to the...

Mini-X and TT22
Isn't that Mini just gorgeous next to the HX? :-) http://deej.net/glastar/pics/panel/install/photob-3182.jpg I am trying to get the Mini-X to talk to the Trig TT22. The Mini manual says not to use the GRT serial adapter, however, the TT22 config page on the Mini has two entries that seem to refer to...

torque enhancer servo mount
Could someone from GRT please take the time to upload an installation drawing or picture of the new torque enhancer servo mount to the GRT website? In particular I am looking for an example of how it installs in an aircraft. It may possibly go well on this page: http://www.grtavionics.com/manualsap....
