Re: Configuration Of Audio Alerts
Did anyone figure out how to turn off the "Traffic" audio alert? I see that it has no XXXX number associated with it so we cant overwrite it. Its obnoxious!!! I've scoured the books (and the threads here) too with no luck. My books might be old versions, of that I'm not super sure.... Anyo...

Re: ALT---BARO??
Thanks for asking this qu. I've been stuck on this for days wondering why it wont work, and why theres not an HXr option to flow the baro info to the EIS. But now I know.

Re: Princeton Capacitive fuel probe programming / calibration
Recognizing this is an old thread, but still a good one, I'm doing the Princeton calibration for a Mustang2 with wing tanks, which FWIW are a triangluar shape and as I remember, two blended airfoil shapes. However, the question is, is there a way to compensate in the EIS (perhaps with offset?) for d...

Magnetometer shuts of with AHRS1 power - Dual AHRS
Jeff, I'm doing system checks before first flight. I have dual screen HXRs, a dual ahrs box, and a dual buss system. When I shut off Ahrs1 (with Ahrs2 still powered up), magnetometer1 grays out; Mag2 stays lit but the raw data stops completely. When I shut down Ahrs2 with Ahrs 1 still on, the magnet...

Re: Magnetometer - powering it via multiple sources?????
The engineer says you can just connect the power outputs together because they have internal diodes and you don't need to switch grounds. He didn't comment on if any ground would be best but I would try a central ground near the Mini. Okey doke. I'll press forward with no switch. If he does comment...

Re: Magnetometer - powering it via multiple sources?????
Jeff,
Any word from the engineer on what to do here? Can I gang the power inputs and just switch the gnds? Or gang them all with no switch required?
Thanks

Re: Magnetometer - powering it via multiple sources?????
If you have a Dual AHRS then there is only one mag power connection there. One Dual AHRS and one Mini would be two power outputs. I think I will have to get some advice from the engineer on this. Switching the grounds sounds like the safest option. Using a central ground could add noise to the syst...
