I have a dual HX and a GNS 480 install. I can't get the fuel flow to appear on the 480. All the info is on the EFIS so I don't really need it but it bugs me that I can't get it over to the 480.
Serial output from the HX is fuel/air data Z format at 9600 baud (although I have also tried the S and D formats as well.)
Serial input on the 480 is FADC at 9600 baud. Output is Mapcom.
ARINC 429 is set at low.
480 input #2 is EFIS
480 outputs are VOR/ILS and GAMA 429
Not the most critical but if anyone knows what I am doing wrong, I would love to hear it. Thanks

Re: Getting GNS 480 to receive fuel flow
Are any other HX outputs using Z format? I seem to recall that only one port can use that format (??)
Re: Getting GNS 480 to receive fuel flow
Thanks for the suggestion Bob. I did check the settings this morning, but there is only one selection for fuel/air data z format on either HX.

Re: Getting GNS 480 to receive fuel flow
This turned out to be a non issue. The fuel data is getting to the 480. The endurance and fuel to destination are correct. The fuel flow display itself is zero but it must be an internal software glitch of the 480.
