Remember recent waypoints on flight plan page

Post by yoloflyer »

For example: If I want to enter a "direct to" flight plan in my Garmin Aera 510 (which I can select to drive my autopilot) there is a menu of recent waypoints available, saving me from entering commonly used waypoints manually. Considering my Sport SX always remembers my last flight plan and/or direct-to waypoint, it seems to me that saving a list of (say, 10) shouldn't be that difficult. Would save a few button pushes...

The EFIS remembers your most recent 25 direct-to entries in the internal flight plan. On the FLIGHT PLAN page, in DIRECT TO mode, scroll up with the right knob. To use one of the previous entries, move the cursor box to it and push the direct-to button.

Thanks for that, I didn't realize that feature existed.
