Trig TY91 - remote and direct control?

We have an HXr with Trig TY91 transceiver. In the UK we have to have the Trig head in the panel (the user interface is part of the approved xceiver). But it would be easier to control vis the EFIS. With your interface, can we have both?

According to the latest TY91 manual, dual control is possible, but is part of an update. You can wire one control head to the TMAP1A/B port and the other to the TMAP2A/B port. This wasn't a documented option before and we don't have any experience with it. I don't think it will work properly with the current software in our adapter, since our adapter does not expect another control head to change the frequency. What would probably happen is the HXr and adapter would override the Trig TC90 control head.

Thanks Jeff, and for your prompt reply to my other queries. Think we'll leave this on the back-burner for now...
