Linked App View

Post by Sparky »

I paired the android tablet to the HX and it linked to each other..
I only get the blue/brown on the horizon though I can see the terrain, etc on the HX

is that the only picture that shows with the app?

Yes. The PFD on the App is purely an attitude, air data, and heading display at this point. It does not show runways, obstacles, terrain, traffic, waypoints, etc.

Hello Jeff,

is there a way to link to the system with just a screen, no functionality for the rear passenger in a tandem config can see whats going on?

With the App? By default a new Bluetooth pairing doesn't have permission to change anything.

If you mean a display unit, there are some share functions you can specifically turn off (selected heading, selected courses, NAV MODE), but everything else still works. With the display link on a serial port, it's possible to configure the input only, which means the display can't send anything back. It would be an easy software change to disable the output on the Ethernet link to get the same effect.
